This is a fantastic lesson plan for science and learning about camouflage. The lesson is interactive and will get all students involved and heard with all of their answers. One way to change the end of the lesson is instead of having the students cut out and color their moths you could have many different colors of construction paper for them to use and cut out for their designs.

This lesson is also great because it can also be involved back into Social Studies and the Industrial Revolution. The story that is told at the end to the students explains about the new transformations that had happened during that time and would be great to tie both this Science lesson into a lesson about the Industrial Revolution in Social Studies.
